-there are 4 sets of groups ace, 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K (13 per set)
-the group sets are named, Diamond and Hearts (both red), Spades and Clubs (which are black).
-this means for example that in the deck there are 4 K's a K of diamonds and a K of hearts (red) and a K of Spades and a K of Clubs (which are black).
